    Day 3

Enjoy two expertly guided safari drives in Yala National Park — one at first light and another in the late afternoon — carefully timed to capture the most dynamic wildlife activity in Sri Lanka’s premier leopard habitat.

This is a refined yet authentic field experience designed for serious wildlife enthusiasts who value time in the wilderness over predictability. Yala offers one of the highest probabilities of leopard encounters in Asia, yet every sighting remains entirely wild, rewarding patience, tracking skill, and deep understanding of animal behaviour.

Led by experienced naturalist guides, each drive explores a mosaic of habitats — from dense scrub jungle and rocky outcrops to open plains and lagoon edges — home to leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and an exceptional diversity of birdlife.

The morning safari reveals the park at its most active and atmospheric, with predators still on the move and soft golden light enhancing visibility. The afternoon drive offers a different rhythm, as wildlife adapts to heat and shifting conditions, often revealing unique behavioural moments.

This is luxury in its most authentic form — immersive, unfiltered, and deeply connected to the raw pulse of the wild.

    Day 4

Morning safari at Bundala National Park.

Explore the ecological richness of Bundala National Park with a focused birdwatching and wildlife safari through one of Sri Lanka’s most important wetland sanctuaries.
This coastal lagoon system is a Ramsar-listed wetland of international importance, offering a completely different ecosystem to the island’s dry-zone safari parks. It is a haven for birding enthusiasts, supporting a remarkable diversity of resident and migratory species, including greater flamingos, painted storks, pelicans, herons, and a wide range of shorebirds that shift with the seasons.
Beyond its avian spectacle, Bundala also supports elephants, mugger crocodiles, wild boar, and other wetland-adapted wildlife, often observed in the quiet channels, lagoons, and scrub fringes that define the park’s landscape.
Guided by experienced naturalists, the safari unfolds at a slow, observant pace — ideal for photography, species identification, and understanding the delicate balance of this coastal ecosystem.
Bundala offers a more subtle, refined wildlife experience — less about predator encounters, and more about immersion in one of Sri Lanka’s most biodiverse and tranquil birding landscapes.

Unlike dense jungle reserves, Udawalawe offers sweeping grasslands, scrub plains, and reservoir edges that create exceptional long-range visibility — making it a favourite for serious wildlife observers, photographers, and naturalists who prefer uninterrupted field conditions.

The park is most renowned for its large, free-roaming elephant population, often seen in herds across open terrain, providing some of the most consistent and natural elephant viewing in the region. Alongside elephants, the ecosystem supports water buffalo, crocodiles, jackals, monitor lizards, and a rich variety of raptors and waterbirds that dominate the skies and wetlands.

After the safari proceed to Galle and spend the time at leisure.

    Day 8

Experience an unforgettable marine expedition from Mirissa, one of the Indian Ocean’s most renowned gateways for observing blue whales and a rich diversity of pelagic marine life.

Set out early into deep offshore waters where the continental shelf drops dramatically, creating a nutrient-rich environment that attracts some of the largest creatures on Earth. This is one of the few locations globally where blue whales can be seen relatively close to shore, alongside sperm whales, Bryde’s whales, dolphins, and seasonal migratory species.

Led by experienced marine crews and spotters, the journey focuses on responsible and respectful wildlife observation in open ocean conditions. Encounters are entirely wild and dependent on ocean dynamics, currents, and seasonal movement patterns, making each expedition a unique field experience.
The experience is defined by anticipation and scale — vast open horizons, changing sea conditions, and the rare privilege of witnessing marine giants in their natural environment.

    Evening enjoy the beach.
